How to unblur a photo taken on your iPhone
You caught the moment, but the iPhone shot came out soft. Before you delete it, know that the Photos app can only do so much, and there is a free way to properly sharpen it up. Here is what each option actually does.
First, what the Photos app can and can't do
Open the photo, tap Edit, and you will find Sharpen and Definition sliders. They add crispness to edges that are already there, which helps a little with very mild softness. What they cannot do is rebuild detail that real blur has smeared away, so a genuinely blurry shot still looks blurry, just with more contrast. There is no true "unblur" button built into iOS. That is the honest ceiling of the on-phone tools.
The proper fix: an AI enhancer on your computer

Why not just use an app or website?
Many iOS "unblur" apps and photo sites upload your picture, stamp a watermark, or lock the good result behind a subscription. Doing it in a Chrome extension keeps the photo on your machine, adds no watermark, and has no daily limit. Nothing about the image leaves your device.
