Questions

How do I convert a PDF to CSV?

Drop the PDF into the converter at the top of this page. The tables are read in a few seconds; check the preview, pick the separator and press Download CSV. Nothing is uploaded.

My CSV opens in one column in Excel. What do I do?

Your Excel expects a semicolon, which is usual where a comma is the decimal mark (most of Europe and Latin America). Choose Semicolon under Separator and download again, or take the .xlsx file instead.

Can I convert a bank statement PDF to CSV?

Yes, if the statement was downloaded from online banking (it has real text). Dates, descriptions and amounts come out in their own columns. For statements, our bank statement converter keeps amounts as numbers in Excel too.

What about scanned PDFs?

A scan is a picture of the page with no text inside, so the browser can't read it. The AI mode in our free Chrome extension recognizes tables in scans and exports them to CSV or Excel.

Is it free? Is my PDF uploaded?

Free, no sign-up, no page limit. The PDF is read and the CSV is built in your browser; the file never leaves your computer.
